What are the dates of the 2025 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (SOBEWFF®)?

Where does SOBEWFF® take place?

The Festival’s 24th annual edition will feature more than 100 events spanning Miami-Dade and Broward counties from February 20-23, 2025. Please refer to the specific event pages for location information.

What happens in the case of bad weather?

While many of our events are indoors; those that are outdoors will happen rain or shine! All tickets are non-refundable.

Is there a dress code?

As a general guideline, we suggest “smart casual” attire for our daytime events. For our late-night events and dinner series we suggest cocktail attire, though “smart casual” is also acceptable. Please refer to the event page for specific details, and we encourage you to wear comfortable shoes when attending our larger, walk-around tasting events.

What items are prohibited from the events?

Security will check all bags at the entrance of all events. Prohibited items include but are not limited to: outside food and beverages, drugs, weapons, backpacks, large bags, and suitcases. Click here to view our bag policy. NO PETS ALLOWED. ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS PERMITTED.

Is SOBEWFF® able to accommodate my dietary restrictions?

We cannot guarantee that participating chefs and restaurants will prepare dishes without common allergens, including nuts, dairy, gluten, etc. Additionally, not all events will have vegetarian options available. Does SOBEWFF® have any sustainability initiatives?

Yes. At the 2024 Festival alone, over 83,465 lbs. of waste was diverted from landfills thanks to an initiative led by more than 600 students and their professor at FIU’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. Under the guidance of Clean Vibes, a company dedicated to responsible on-site event waste management, the Festival was able to recycle 31,900 lbs. and compost 21,700 lbs. In addition, the Festival rescued almost 30,000 lbs of food which went to support the Miami Rescue Mission, an organization that has been serving people experiencing homelessness in Miami-Dade and Broward counties since 1922. The Miami Rescue Mission helps men, women and children with meals, safe shelter, life-changing residential programs, employment and housing resulting in transformed lives. The Festival has been proud to partner with the Miami Rescue Mission for almost a decade.

Is the Festival ADA accessible?

To request materials in accessible format, register a service animal and or secure an accommodation, please contact FIU’s Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Accessibility (OCRCA) at 305.348.2785 or [email protected] at least two weeks in advance of the event or at the earliest possible opportunity.

Are animals permitted at the Festival?

NO PETS ALLOWED. ONLY SERVICE ANIMALS PERMITTED. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. For more information, please refer to the U.S. Department of Justice.

What charity does SOBEWFF® support?

EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE. 100% of net proceeds benefit the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management's Wine Spectator Restaurant Management Laboratory and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center at Florida International University. To date, the Festival has raised more than $40+ million for the School and each year more than 1,200 students utilize the Festival as an interactive educational platform to gain real-world experience in the hospitality industry.

Tickets & Events

When will SOBEWFF® tickets go on sale?

The Capital One Pre-Sale, offered exclusively to Capital One Cardholders, begins on October 21, 2024, at 9:00 AM EST. General ticket sales begin October 28, 2024 online at 9:00 AM EST.

How much are tickets to SOBEWFF®?

In general, tickets range from $40-$550 per person; but ticket prices vary depending on the type of event you choose to attend. The Festival also offers several different ticket packages, each including a unique selection of events. Click here for more info.

Can I buy tickets at the door?

Tickets cannot be purchased at the door at any SOBEWFF® event. Tickets to Festival events are available online at sobewff.org or by calling 866.271.8540 (phone sales open Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-9:00 PM EST). During the week of the Festival, you will be able to continue to purchase tickets online or through our Box Office located at 13th St. and Ocean Drive. Festival Box Office hours and dates will be determined closer to the event weekend. Events do sell out quickly, so we encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance!

Do you offer a payment plan option?

Yes, you can split your payment into multiple installments by selecting the payment plan option at check-out.

How do I access my mobile tickets?

Accessing mobile tickets is simple and saves the hassle of printing a paper ticket.


  1. Download the SquadUp app or visit squadup.com and login with your SquadUp ticket account email address and password. If you do not know your password, click “Forgot Password.”

  2. Select the event you wish to download your mobile tickets for and click “View Ticket.”

  3. When viewing the individual ticket, click “Download Passbook” (for Apple devices) or click “Download Ticket” (for all other devices). Once saved in your mobile wallet, then you will always have easy access even with no cellular connectivity.

Are there waitlists for sold-out events?

Unfortunately, we are unable to create a waitlist for any of our events.

Are Festival tickets transferrable?

Yes, tickets are able to be forwarded or passed along to others. The name on the tickets is not relevant to access for events. However, it is important that each unique ticket is not used by more than one person, as each ticket will only successfully scan one time.

What is the SOBEWFF® refund policy?

The Festival has a strict no refund policy. All ticket purchases are final.

Do I have to pay for food and drinks once I’m inside the event?

Your ticket purchase covers all food and beverage consumed at the event. Just bring your appetite and enjoy!

Can I bring my child?

Attendees at all SOBEWFF® events must be 21 or older, unless otherwise stated on the event page. The full list of family-friendly events can be found here.

What is Capital One® Priority Entry and how do I qualify for it?

The Capital One® Priority Entry Lane is set up for guests to gain expedited entry into select events. You must use an eligible Capital One® Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card to purchase the Capital One® Cardholder event ticket. Excludes Capital One® issued private label cards. While supplies last.

Travel & Lodging

Where should I stay?

The SOBEWFF® headquarter hotel is the Loews Miami Beach Hotel – a short walk or ride to most of our signature events. We are pleased to offer our guests preferred pricing at hotels across South Beach. Hotel options and rates can be found here.

Which airport should I fly into for the Festival?

Both Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport (FLL) are within close proximity to the Festival. We suggest picking the one that is most convenient for you.

Getting Involved

How can I find out more about becoming a vendor at SOBEWFF®?

SOBEWFF® has a preferred list of vendors in addition to some exclusive sponsorships throughout all of our events. If you have a unique service, please send a brief description of your company and any relevant materials to [email protected].

Can press attend events?

Yes, absolutely! Press registration opens online November 4, 2024. All press inquiries can be directed to Festival’s Assistant Director. PR & Marketing, Andrea Moreno.

Can I volunteer at SOBEWFF®?

Yes! In addition to Florida International University students, SOBEWFF® is always looking for volunteers to assist in setup, checking in guests, passing out materials, giving directions, ticketing, and other event support tasks. We also look for experienced culinary volunteers to support our participating chefs. Click here for more information about volunteering.
