Description
Every February, something miraculous takes place along the sunny shores of South Beach. Those iconic white tents pop up like springtime blooms, forming a seaside city that is vibrant, expansive and, well, grand. And no matter how long you’ve lived in South Florida or how many times you’ve attended the Festival, you can’t help but be bowled over by its sheer majesty. We’re of course talking about SOBEWFF®’s marquee event, Goya Foods' Grand Tasting Village featuring Publix Culinary Demonstrations sponsored by Sub-Zero Group Southeast.
This year, we’re turning up the volume for a knockout Grand Tasting experience that no passionate Festival-goer should miss. Get ready to party at the Only in Dade Tailgate sponsored by Diamonette Event Rentals, this party will embody everything that’s unique to the Miami Community. We’re kicking off with DJ Yissel’s beats and vibe out to an electrifying headline set by the legendary DJ Irie + Friends. Expect high-energy moments, surprise guests, and all the local flavor you love. Stay tuned – this is where the unexpected happens!
You'll also sample boldly flavored beachside bites from thirty sensational South Florida restaurants (hailing from South Miami to Palm Beach and nearly everywhere in between) while sipping on sumptuous wines and refreshing cocktails from the Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits portfolio. As you walk through the venue, which takes up a whopping three city blocks, you’ll find so much to savor including vibey live music, dynamic brand activations from some of the Festival’s most innovative sponsors, and even some nifty, under-the-radar products from a wide range of gourmet exhibitors. And of course, a stellar cast of chefs and Food Network personalities – the newest stars and your beloved favorites – will be on hand as they hit the beach to prepare some of their signature dishes at the interactive Publix Culinary Demonstrations sponsored by Sub-Zero Group Southeast.
Before the sun sets on what is sure to be an afternoon of relaxation and revelry, don’t forget to take in the Grand Tasting’s glistening Atlantic Ocean-lined backdrop. One look and you’ll realize (that is, if you haven’t already) that paradise has most certainly been found.
