Alejandro Lopez began his career advising winemakers from the Rioja region on organic production. Following time spend in Chile, Italy and the US; expanding his knowledge, he returned to Rioja where he has worked for a number of the best wineries in the region. In 2018, Alejandro was selected by Master of Wine Pedro Ballesteros and prestigious Decanter magazine as one of the top emerging winemakers in Spain; describing him as a “key figure and reference for the new generation of winemakers setting trends in Spain.”

Alejandro joined Beronia is 2023 and perfectly embodies his passion for sustainability and his devotion to respecting the classics while exploring beyond to surprise and delight.
