Athena Dion is Miami’s very own Greek Goddess ! Arguably the Queen of Miami, Athena has transformed the Drag scene in the magic city. Athena is a graduate of FIUs school of hospitality and Tourism and has been putting her degree to good use by running the most successful drag brunch in South Florida at R House in Wynwood. As the first drag show in the iconic Miami neighborhood, Athena has built a show that has become a staple in the South Florida circuit. Welcoming guests from all over the world and a hefty helping of some big names celebrities as well. TV personality Ana Navarro is a friend and R house regular along with, IVY QUEEN, Billy Porter, and even Miami royalty ,Gloria and Emilio Estefan , just to name a few.

When she’s not gracing the streets of Miami, Athena can be found headlining at the Jackie O Resort in Mykonos Greece. Bringing her talents back to her motherland and gaining global exposure on the infamous party island.

Athena’s iconic voice gained international exposure while she was hosting at the Lohan Beach Club in Mykonos Greece and delivered the now legendary phrase: “Honey this is how you throw a party in Mykonos, b*itch!” Athena has been a guest on ABCs The View, Rupauls Drag Race : UNTUCKED, Americas Got Talent impersonating Posh Spice; Featured on Cosmopolitan Magazines online Cosmo Queens showcasing a signature makeup look; as well as countless online interviews and media publications. Athena can be seen regularly popping up on local news channels promoting her appearances and community events , such as LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations.

Athena has given back to her community through her humanitarian organization mydreamqueens.com by organizing makeover events, toy drives and drag performances for homeless shelters and hospitals. Athena has also nurtured and uplifted some of Miamis hottest up and coming talents. Her extensive drag family, The Dion Dynasty, claims the some of the city’s best and brightest young stars who share the stage with the matron of the family, regularly.
