EJ had always been passionate about food, but nothing compared to his love for cheesesteaks. His DJ life took him to cities like New York & Philadelphia where he savored the classic flavors and textures of the iconic dish. Yet, with each bite he couldn’t shake the feeling that the perfect cheesesteak was still out there waiting to be discovered. As life goes on EJ focused on his music career and pizza, always having that desire to craft the perfect cheesesteak.

Fast forward 20 years and Subby’s was born where EJ’s quest for the ultimate cheesesteak transformed into a celebration of community, culture, and culinary passion, reminding everyone that sometimes the journey is just as important as the destination.
