Florida native Jeff McInnis grew up surrounded by the sun and sea. He started his culinary career at the age of 16 and then went on to attend Johnson & Wales University. After competing on the award winning show Top Chef, McInnis returned to Florida to helm the kitchen of popular restaurant, Yardbird. McInnis went on to earn three James Beard
nominations in just two years for his famed southern comfort food in Miami Beach. The chef couple later partnered with local restaurant group Grove Bay Hospitality Group and now run the kitchens of popular Miami restaurants Root & Bone, Stiltsville Fish Bar and Mi’Talia Kitchen & Bar.
