Phillippe Marion
Managing Director, Barton & Guestier
Graduated in Economics and International Commerce, Philippe started his career at Yvon Mau, a Bordeaux subsidiary of Freixenet, in-charge of the US and Canada market. He then worked for another Bordeaux négociant called Quancard for five years in-charge of Europe then joined Barton & Guestier in September 2001.
After having taken care of Europe, Philippe took responsibility of the global sales and marketing for the company. After the takeover of Barton & Guestier by Castel from Diageo in 2011, Barton & Guestier joined forces with Patriarche (Burgundy and sparkling wines, including Veuve du Vernay) and Listel (rosé specialist).
Today, Philippe is in-charge of global sales and marketing for the three winehouses.
Being born in Bordeaux half a century ago, he grew with a passion for wines quite early and never managed to move out of the region. Surfing with his kids is his preferred activity when he is not traveling.
