Grew up in Saigon, Vietnam, Tam moved to the US in 2008 to pursue a college degree in Hospitality. With a strong passion for culinary and despite having no formal cooking training, in 2019, Tam and his partner started a supper club series out of their backyard, showcasing Vietnamese food that he couldn’t find here in Miami. Fast forward to 2023, after many more supper club events and countless pop ups, the couple’s brick and mortar restaurant called “Tam Tam” was opened in downtown Miami, featuring chef driven Vietnamese drinking food combined with local ingredients. In 2024, the restaurant was awarded Michelin Bib Gourmand award and Bon Appetit magazine’ best new restaurant. In the same year, chef Tam Pham was awarded the Florida New Chef award by the Michelin Guide.
